Khukhuri knives are the traditional knives of Nepal .Are beeing use by the police ,the army but also by the Gorkhas , one of the best and most hard trained Army forces. They say that this type of knife ihas its roots in the knives of the army of Alexander the Great.

It is used as a weapon but also as a tool .To make it they use steel for the blade (occasionaly this steel comes from the springs of trucks , and wallnut wood , Horns ,bones and skins for the hadle and housing .
